My Biography

Welcome to My ePortfolio - information submitted on this site is continuous as I seek to enhance my career by teaching online classes.   

I am an experienced educator with 18 years of teaching experience.  In 1994, I established Another Chance Ministries.  In 2003 the ministry was renamed and established as a 501 (c) 3 organization - Another Alternative Ministries Global.  

University of Maryland University College - Learning Environment Online (LEO) Consultant

  • Assist faculty in key features of LEO and how to use them in the classroom (UMUC) environment, providing faculty with real-time help with tool.
  • Use key communication tools (i.e., Google Chat and Hangouts) to share screens and guide faculty through step-by-step instructions in the LMS.
  • Up-to-date record keeping on the use of Key Features in LEO Engage space reflecting questions and needs for support they are asked to address.
  • Responding to faculty questions posted in Questions about Teaching in LEO Engage space.
  • Assist Faculty Development staff to identify and analyze trends in support needs and make recommendations for future training and other interventions to address the needs.

University of Maryland University College -Graduate Faculty Writing Coach & Teaching Assistant

  • Assisting students with LMS (WebTycho) issues, and aid in the grading/posting feedback loop;

  • Continuously interacting with course instructors to determine accuracy of format.
